Came in first thing in the morning, needed coffee before I could think or interact with other humans. The owner gave me a glass of water with my coffee and steamed the milk . My new favorite place. Beautiful, clean restaurant, fantastic hospitality. The food smelled amazing
We came here twice on an extended weekend and got to try the house made gluten free options: quiche, bagels, and a very yummy raspberry oat bar. All were delish! My wife had the same but traditional (not gluten free) and she enjoyed it. Pam is the owner and was very friendly. Highly recommended!
Wow! Great place with a great location. Directly across from the train depot, Mountain Perks is a delightful place to grab a quick cup of coffee or sit down for lunch and people watch. We visited 3 times in our 5 day getaway if that tells you anything! The food and coffee were amazing but the best part was the people. The owners are very personable and have LOTS of great tips for the area. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about Mountain Perks!
If you are headed to Bryson City, then Mountain Perks needs to be on your places to visit list. Staff is always friendly and helpful! Bagels are fresh and delicious. Soups are divine ( my favorite is the ham/potato/corn chowder ). Fresh and handmade food. Coffee is smooth and hot with refills. If you have a problem, tell the owner who works there everyday and is amazing! She will get it right for you.
Stopped in for breakfast. I had a pralines and cream cappuccino with almond milk and he had the peppermint patty cappuccino. They were both delicious. Then we split a Kerby croissant. So yummy. Cute lil place across from the train. Definitely recommend you stop in and check this lil place out.
Stopped for a quick snack and coffee before heading out of town and it hit the spot! The manager (I assume) warned us they were a bit short staffed and it might be a bit slower than their usual, but I really didn't even feel like it was that long of a wait for food or drinks. We had good coffee, a cinnamon roll (so flaky and yummy - could have been a tad warmer), and the sausage and pepper jack quiche - delish! The staff came by to check on us multiple times and everyone was friendly. It was clean and cute inside. We'd stop back by whenever we are in town again!
Their chai is delicious! The owner was working and she is super nice and hard working! She even ran out when the train went by and put on Mickey hands and waved to everyone! We had two dogs, three teens and three adults. We were able to sit outside and enjoy a breakfast of croissants, bagels, oats, and yogurt. I really liked it! The egg and bacon croissant was warm and tasty! We will go back again tomorrow! I’m not gluten free but she had a lot of options if you needed it
Cute little coffee shop right next to the train depot. Excellent views and service. I enjoyed an unsweet flavored iced tea and my husband got a hot coffee. I enjoyed the avocado boat with a scoop of chicken salad. They also have a variety of desserts.
